What it's for

A 20" deck, rated for up to 10 GPM and up to 300°F. Check that range against your machine before you order — a starved deck cleans slowly and leaves stripes where the passes overlap.

What we see on the bench

  • Will it run on my machine? The Bandit Pro Force BPF-2000 is a 20 inch deck rated up to 10 GPM, 5,000 PSI and 300°F, with no published minimum. The practical floor for a 20 inch deck is about 4 GPM — a 3.5–4 GPM machine is the common pairing. Check your flow against the sizing guide before you buy.
  • The size between a cart and a big flatwork deckA 20 inch deck is the reasonable middle: more coverage than a 19 inch walk-behind pad but still light enough to handle with a smaller machine. It is what contractors pick when their machine is 4–5 GPM and their work is a mix of driveways and light concrete.
  • Tight surfaces where a 24 is too muchOn gateways, walkways and tight enclosures a 24 inch bar overhangs what it is cleaning. The 20 inch tracks the path better and keeps the edges crisp. That maneuverability is the reason it outsells the 24 on residential-heavy routes.

Questions buyers ask

Can a 4 GPM machine run a 20 inch deck?
Yes — about 4 GPM is the practical floor for a 20 inch deck, which makes it a natural pairing with the common 4 GPM commercial machines. Fit the numbers in the sizing guide to be sure your machine sits on or above the floor.
Why pick 20 over 24 inch?
If your machine only delivers 4–5 GPM, the 20 inch keeps each nozzle fed and cleans without striping, where a 24 inch would be underfed. If your machine has more flow and the work is big open flats, the 24 inch covers more ground per pass.
