Treat 5–6 GPM as the sensible floor for a 24 inch deck — below that the bar starves and leaves stripes. Confirm your machine's flow in the surface cleaner sizing guide before you commit.
  • Aluminium deck and castors make it a daily toolThe spun powder-coated aluminium deck takes hot water where a plastic deck would not, and the castors mean it rolls the length of the job instead of dragging. On a commercial lot that castor set is the difference between finishing the day and tiring out by noon.
  • High ceilings do not mean it needs themBeing rated to 10 GPM and 300°F does not require you to run it there. It simply gives the deck headroom — a 5–8 GPM machine drives it happily. The mistake is underfeeding it, not overfeeding. See the sizing guide for the pairing.

Is the Bandit 24 the same as the Whisper Wash Ground Force 24?
They are different decks at the same width — the Bandit is a spun aluminium deck rated to 5,000 PSI and 300°F from Pressure Systems Innovations, while the Ground Force 24 is a Whisper Wash deck rated to 4,000 PSI and 212°F. Both want roughly 5–6 GPM minimum on a 24 inch bar. Choose on price, brand preference and temperature ceiling.
How much water does a 24 inch deck need?
A practical 5–6 GPM. The exact number depends on the deck's rated range — the sizing guide walks the rule of thumb. Feed it less and it streaks; more and it just cleans faster.
